Just about everyone knows "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." And I'm not talking about the Jim Carey version. It doesn't even do the original any justice. The fact is, it's such a classic that the BubbleGum Geek doesn't even have to explain its greatness. So with one more day to go until Christmas, enjoy the Grinch.

Don't Foget the Hula Hoop
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song. . . what a classic!
Because the BubbleGum Geek wasn't that persistent, she never got that hula hoop. But that's okay. The BubbleGum Geek will be more persistent to get that new media PC that she's been craving for ever since she realized how much her current PC sucks.
Enjoy the childhood goodness!

One Week till Christmas. . .

This is it folks, the final week before the gift exchange between all your loved ones. The BubbleGum Geek has chosen the perfect gift to tide everyone over those next crucial days. Everyday the BubbleGum Geek is going to post a favorite Christmas special.
Here's a twist on an all-time favorite, "A Charlie Brown Christmas." This special is performed by the cast of "Scrubs." Same Charlie Brown goodness fused with the hilarity of "Scrubs." Enjoy!

Christmas Isn't Just About Gifts
Dear Santa,
The BubbleGum Geek isn't too sure if she's been a good girl or not, but what she can say is that she's been relatively reasonable in her life's decisions. Sure they were times when her thoughts weren't positive, but what kind of person doesn't think negatively at any point in their life. The Geek just likes to live her life and has no regrets on her past decisions, except taking a seasonal job at Bloomingdales and quitting Apple in its place. But the Geek has digressed.
So here's the thing, the BubbleGum Geek has decided to be good. Not the good that will get her the media PC and the iPhone that she's been craving for. But the good that helps others to make everyone around her feel good as well. The time has come to turn over a new leaf. So on Christmas eve don't be too surprised if you see some milk and cookies or if you want a hot buttered rum next to the Christmas tree. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
The BubbleGum Geek

I Heart TV. I Heart TV Show Themes Even More. Five Favorites that Put a Smile on Your Face.
Between editing, blogging, researching, twittering, and eveything else in between, the BubbleGum Geek was able to fit in a CSI marathon. Turned on the TV and low and behold, one of the Geek's favorite geeks, Greg Sanders was there right in front of her. The Who started blaring through the speakers, and this got the Geek thinking about her favorite TV show theme songs. Obviously, the CSI theme song is one of the best features of the show but it's doesn't really rank in the top ten. The BubbleGum Geek's top five consists of the themes that go really go back in the day. Think Animaniacs and Full House to fully get the jist of where this is heading.
5. Perfect Stangers: "No matter what the odds are this time. Nothing's gonna stand in our way." It sounds inspirational and hilarious at the same time.
4. Growing Pains: the BubbleGum suggests this theme songs for any family slide shows. It's perfect.
3. Tiny Toon Adventures: There's something about old school 90's cartoons that just put a smile on this Geek's face. The lyrics are fast and infectious.
2. Salute Your Shorts: If any TV show theme song is going to make the Geek nostaglic, the Salute Your Shorts theme is going to do it. Never went to camp and made memories, but this theme brings back a lot of childhood memories in place of camp ones.
1. Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego: Rockapella, the DJ from the movie the Warriors, and a beloved computer game villian - these are all elements that make a show have an even more memorable TV show theme. Watch on because the BubbleGum Geek really has no words to describe how much this theme puts a smile on her face.

Computer Love
Computers and hip hop have never sounded better.
"It's time to buy... baby,
a new disc drive... lady,
a 1.5 terabyte
stack the memory to the sky.
It's been awhile... baby
on the 30 day trial... lady
it's probably time for us to fly
hit that paypal and comply."
The BubbleGum Geek is a geek because of songs like this.
I've Been a Bad Blogger...
It's been pretty obvious by the date that this posted and the last blog post that the BubbleGum Geek has been a bad blogger. Two months without a post seems like the Geek has completely abandoned this blog, but it time to return home. Life was hectic and now the BubbleGum Geek is turning a new leaf. Say hello to more favorite flavors.
